NEW DEBUTS

Making their debut in the ring at the Sebring shows on April 21, 2012 was Cooper - Kengali's Unbridled Power - and his handler (and SSRRC member) Lisa McElroy.  


NEW CHAMPIONS

Completing her championship at the Perry Shows was Chyna - CH. Kengali's Sweet Chyld O' Mine, Too.  Chyna finished the week-end with 2 major wins and on her first day as a Special, was SEL bitch.  Way to go Chyna.



New ASFA FIELD CHAMPION

Champions aren't just made in the conformation ring, they are also made out on the field.  Bindi completed her American Sighthound Field Championship in May 2012 up in Calhoun, Georgia.  She is now:  GCH CH Regal Tolerton's Luminara Unduli for Bindura, FCh, SC.

FIELD REPORTS

On March 10, 2012, at the ASFA trial over in Brooksville, Riffe - FC Terra Christa's Riffe Octavian, SC - went Best of Breed and ran his heart out in Best in Field.  Riffe is very close to becoming an ASFA Field Champion!  Riffe is owned and loved by Ross Johnson.  




March 24 & 25, 2012 saw AKC Coursing in Florida for the first time this year.  On Saturday, March 24, 2012, Bindi - GCH Regal Tolerton's Luminara Unduli for Bindura, SC - received her first coursing major on the field.!  Here is Bindi coming back to her daddy after her Best of Breed run.



And even bigger news was Chyna - Kengali's Sweet Chyld O' Mine, Too.  On Sunday, Chyna was BEST IN FIELD!  Chyna took home some beautiful ribbons and trophy AND a 5 point major!



Earning her J.C. title at the Perry Shows was Pepper - TuckerRidge Bold & Spicy at Regal.  Pepper is owned and loved by Stacey and Nathan Tucker.



Having fun on the field is Logan, owned and loved by Amanda Kelley.  Logan earned his Senior Courser title.  Logan is Msaada's Call to Duty, CGC, TT, HIC, SC.



MORE AKC COURSING in Altoona on May 12 & 13, 2012

The last AKC coursing of the spring saw majors, majors, majors in Ridgebacks.  

On Saturday, Chyna took first place in the Open class and earned her 2nd major - and it was a 4 point major.  Chyna finished 2nd on Sunday, for 2 points,  and is now 1 point from her Field Champion title.  
Here is Chyna running her heart out in Altoona this past week-end.  Chyna is in yellow and her buddy Deja is right behind her.


 Sunday's major went to Bindi.  Bindi was 2nd on Saturday for 2 points and then the winner in the Open class on Sunday for her 2nd major - another 4 point major.  Bindi is 2 points from her Field Champion title.  
Here is Bindi on her 2nd run of the day. Pictured in yellow, Bindi was running with Mozart and Tori.


And not to be outdone by the girls, Mozart showed he is an excellent runner.  Both days he came in 3rd and earned himself a point each day!

Coursing is over for the summer and will pick back up this September.
